Hey All, This group is for the unabashed, un-ashamed, "read a good romance novel in one sitting," avid trash novel lover. If you thought of the coming of the e-reader as some strange evil that was trying to steal your hoard of select titles, vintage library finds, and tag sale mini-miracles away, but have since found that... yes... OMG... this wonderful device means that you don't have to haul around and create space for your catalogued stash of romance novels... AND now you don't have to lo …

A small book club for 20-and-30-something ladies and female-identified people to meet once a month and discuss a work of literature--primarily fiction, maybe with an occasional work of nonfiction thrown in. I started this book club for three reasons: 1) I miss discussing books after reading them, the way I used to in school, 2) I'd like to make more friends in Baltimore, and 3) Book clubs are best when they're small, and I just wasn't able to find a small one to join in Baltimore! Join this grou …

I was in the library club in elementary school, and I lost the joy of reading leisurely. 'The Shack' renewed my interest!! Most books I've read can be read within a week for those who make reading a priority. With an abundance of obligations (i.e. church, work, school, [oh yeah... and self]), it takes me a little longer to c …

Do you like to read? Do you like to drink? Then this is the book club for you! Once a month, we will meet in a bar to discuss a book we've all read. This way, we can socialize with other readers, unwind with a beer, and hear some great commentary on a work of fiction or nonfiction. Every month we'll discuss a different book, which will be announced ahead of time. I'll make the final decision for which book we end up reading, but will gladly accept suggestions via e-mail, Message Board, or in per …
