We read a variety of interesting books and have good conversations, enjoy great food, and get to know others. We meet on the fourth Monday of every month, choosing different restaurants in the area where we can relax and chat about good books.  All members contribute suggestions for books and restaurants, so no one is left out!

A book club sponsored by Durham County Library that meets at East Regional Library. We read a variety of fiction and nonfiction. We like true crime, magical realism ,book club favorites, classics. Past books include Devil in the White City, the Soloist, Water for Elephants, Freakanomics, Age of Innocence, and The Book Thief.

This is a bookclub designed for African-American women between the ages of 25-50 who love to read good books, socialize and eat!

If you enjoy Christian authors or reading books of inspiration, hope and religious relevance, then this book club is for you. In the true spirit of Christ, we welcome a diverse group of Christ-minded people of all cultures and ethnic affiliations. Both Fiction and Non-fiction books can be a part of our reading list. There are many book clubs. This group reads literary classics...books that have stood the test of time. So we'll never read the hot new thing...we'll read books that are 10-10,000 years old but are still in print. We'll read Homer, Dante, Salinger, Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, John Kennedy Toole, Alice Walker, Shakespeare. Great authors, great books. We'll read fiction, poetry, drama, folk tales, philosophy. We'll discuss what we read over wine or coffee. Sound fun?

This book club is for those of you who enjoy reading modern/urban paranormal romance and action/adventure novels, superhero/non-superhero graphic novels, science fiction novels, and fantasy novels. Each month we will select a novel (or two) from these genres, seeking out the stellar examples or the newest releases in one of each of the categories.

If you're looking for a chance to talk about your favorite recent high school-aged YA reads, gather book recommendations for your students, and make some new friends, this is the group for you! We will gather to discuss recently-published young adult novels as we learn about ourselves, our students, and each other. Male and female teachers of all ages/experience levels are welcome!

We'll follow Oprah's picks and meet to discuss what we think and how we feel about what we've read. This is for bookworms who also want to get out and about!
